You can now upload your own manga into OniKanji

Our Immersion Hub has always been about reading real Japanese without the friction of constant lookups. But the most common request we've gotten is simple: "Can I read my own manga this way?" Now you can.

How it works

Head to the Immersion Hub, open Upload, and drop in a manga you own (image files or a PDF).

From there OniKanji does the rest:

• Built-in OCR reads every page automatically — no browser extensions, no clipboard tools, nothing extra to install.
• One-tap translations. Tap any speech bubble to see the English instantly.
• One-tap grammar breakdowns. Tap again for a word-by-word analysis — part of speech, conjugations, meaning, and formality (plain, casual, and so on).
• Furigana, automatically added over the kanji so you're never stuck

It turns your favorite manga into a real study session — read for fun, and the learning happens along the way.
