Hi Folks,
The leaderboards just got a big upgrade. They've moved out of My Stats into a page of their own, and there's a new way to see exactly where you stand.
1. Leaderboards now have their own page
The leaderboards used to sit at the bottom of My Stats. Now they live at onikanji.com/leaderboards, with their own Leaderboards link in the nav bar.
Every board shows the top 100 learners:
- Most Reviews: total reviews completed, with accuracy breaking ties.
- Total Accuracy: overall accuracy, for learners with 500+ reviews.
- Speed Run: the highest level reached in the fewest minutes of reviews.
- Longest Streak: your best run of study days in a row.
- Output Battle: the top Output Battle players.
The page is public, so you can share it with a friend without them needing an account. The boards update every night.
2. "Your standing" cards
Signed in, you'll see a card for each board at the top of the page. Each shows your rank, plus a fun stat about what it takes to climb:
- Most Reviews: how many reviews you need to pass the person above you.
- Total Accuracy: how many points you are behind the next spot.
- Speed Run: what level the next person is on, so you know how far to level up.
- Longest Streak: how many more days in a row you need to pass the next person.
Not on a board yet? The card tells you what you need to get on it, like how many reviews until you qualify for Total Accuracy.
3. Expand the leaderboard from your dashboard
The leaderboard on your dashboard now has a Show more button. It expands to the top 15 right where you are, and the full page is one tap away.
Where did it go on My Stats?
My Stats is now all about you: your stats, heat map, JLPT progress and Mastery Map. The rankings live on the Leaderboards page.
